Happy 2021, Thank you all for the support true out the crazy year of 2020. I’m so grateful for being healthy, surrounded by the people I love the most. And that I still can practice what I love to do like sharing my passion for beauty and fashion with you guys!
Lately, I’ve been trying out some new makeup brands, and Haus Laboratories (by Lady Gaga) is also one of these brands. I have a few new products from them. But in this blog post, I’m gonna focus on the 4 Away Sunset Shadow Palette. Curious to know more? Then keep on scrolling.
About the product
Haus Laboratories FOUR-WAY SUNSET SHADOW PALETTE (€24,- /made in France). “Unleash a sunset fantasy with this palette inspired by the intimate radiance of golden hour so you can bask in the sun’s magnetism, wherever you are”.

Packaging: A sturdy carbon quad. When it’s open, one side reveals the gorgeous shadows and on the other side, there’s a mirror. The frontside of the quad reveals the kind of feeling and aesthetics about the shadows. In this case, you can see the warm peachy colors on the entire quad. The name of the palette is printed in 3d style on it. That’s a really nice detail if you ask me. I kind of like the feeling it gives when I go over it with my fingers. As you can see in the picture below, the Haus laboratories logo is engraving in silver lettering.
On the back of the quad, you see the name of each shade (in the same silver lettering) and also the usual information like total oz, where it’s made, and so on.
Formula/Texture: The Four-Way Sunset shadow Palette contains multiple finishes. Two shades are buttery matte finish, 1 dense metallics, and 1 lusty shimmer. I’ve already tried out this palette and I can tell you, They did a nice job with the formula. The mattes are pigmentated and blends in like a dream. The shimmer is also pigmented and beautiful. For more intensity, you can use your finger or a wet brush. And as for the metallic to be honest, in my opinion, the formula needs a little bit more work to get it just right. When swatches it with my finger, the color payoff is excellent. But when using a brush, the metallic crumbled a little bit and was the color payoff a bit disappointed.

I tried this palette multiple times now, and I must say that these shadows hold up all day long (in my case around 8 – 10 hours). And I’m not always priming my lids. When applying the shimmer and mattes shadows I didn’t experience any fallout. The metallic gives me a bit, but nothing major. Just keep that in mind when applying this shade.
Verdict
Is it worthy to have? For me it does! I’m a sucker for warmer shades and sunkissed and aperitif are really beautiful. They fit right into my ally the perfect transition shades. If I recommend this quad? 100%! Even though I’m not madly in love with the formula of the metallic. But still, I can work with it. If you need a warmer day to day palette this is definitely one that will fit your needs. Easy accessible and travel friendly. The four-way shadow palette comes in 9 different shades. So there will definitely be one to fit your needs.
Like I said before, I do own more products of Haus Laboratories and can’t wait to review them. Keep your eye on those.
